It's rare in these days of fast fashion to come across a designer whose line embodies timeless elegance as opposed to fleeting trends. Marc le Bihan does this, then takes it even further by deconstructing vintage pieces such as suits and coats from the 18th century, and reconstructing his own clothing to retell a story of bygone days, allowing the modern wearer to create a story of their own. His creations mix delicate silks, lace and embroidery with sturdier fabrics such as wool and leather with the result becoming a wearable piece of art.
